About Me

I’m a celebrant and have lots of fun doing my job!

Not bad after 13 years wouldn’t you say?

It’s a great job because I meet lots of interesting people and no two ceremonies are ever the same.

My first ceremony in April 2005 with Matt and Claire was amazing and I remember it well.  They wished me well and gave me my first written appreciation letter, which I will always treasure.

In my job as a celebrant, I get the chance to make the ceremony that is celebrating a marriage/commitment/renewal of vows Extra Special.

That’s a huge motivation and also a great pleasure – always.

Its great to get feedback too!

Your wedding/commitment/renewal of vows starts with the ceremony and sets the mood for what’s coming next….

You want to know your celebrant is a professional and can handle the expected and unexpected!!

If it rains I have an umbrella.

Ceremony delays happen – I am flexible

Someone in the bridal party faints or is ill – it has happened

The rings are dropped in the sand – yes, I found them

The dog with the rings tied to his collar ran away – yes he came back!

I provide a full and comprehensive service from start to finish.

I have Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance and Copyright protection and APRA commercial music performance license exemption.

Yes – most poems you want to read and music you want to play during your ceremony have copyright – even if they are freely available on the Internet.
